If you have ever had to make a hard decision you know some of the struggle the SpiLiRa design team has been experiencing over the last several weeks. Unfortunately our struggle has led us to the conclusion that this year's SpiLiRa event is not financially viable. There are many factors that have brought us to this point, but the reality is, at 6 weeks out from the event, we have less than one third the registrants that we had hoped for and less than half the number that would have made SpiLiRa a "break-even" event. The bottom line is: the bottom line has caused us to cancel SpiLiRa for 2009. We know that you are as disappointed and grieved as we are. Please know that we did not make this decision lightly and that we did so with much regret

Regarding your registration. If you paid by credit card, your card will be refunded within the next 7-10 days. If you paid by check one of two things will happen. If your check has not been deposited it will be voided and returned to the address imprinted on the check. If your check has been deposited, a refund check will be issued from the Jurisdictional Office. This process may take up to 21 days or longer.
